Description

Rolex 18K/SS OysterQuartz DateJust with stunning, original black dial & matching (correct) 18K/SS 'OysterQuartz' bracelet. A discontinued and sought after model, being an important lineage of Rolex watches.

Case

Stainless steel case in excellent condition with 'fluted' yellow gold bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown, also in gold. Rolex recently re-visited this design of case with their new 'Land-Dweller' models.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12.5mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Original, black dial with applied gold batons, matching gold hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Signed "Rolex OysterQuartz DateJust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, T Swiss Made T". Date aperture at 3 o'clock (QuickSetDate). Black dials are quite rare.

Sapphire crystal is also excellent with no edge chips. There is a small scratch, about halfway between centre and the 8 o'clock marker. Please excuse any dust particles in the images - the dial is perfect.

Bracelet/Strap

18K/SS OysterQuartz bracelet in superb condition - bracelet is specific to this model and similar to a 'Jubilee' bracelet. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 8" wrist or can be adjusted.

Movement

Mechanical Quartz model 17013 signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled and had battery replaced. Running perfectly and keeping near perfect time. Full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned Rolex 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
