Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36mm in 18K yellow gold with very special 'Taupe' or 'Bronze' dial. A superb, original example of a classic gold Rolex. Bark finish bezel and matching bracelet.

Case

18K yellow gold case is in excellent condition with no marks, dents or chips. A few super-light handling marks from very careful use - please see detailed pictures and excuse some camera reflections. An extremely well looked after watch. Serial number: 8843xxx. Case ref: 18078.

Case dimensions are 36mm (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Completely original and untouched 'Taupe' dial (aka 'Bronze') dial with applied gold batons and matching yellow gold hands. Tiny flake at the top of the 5 o'clock baton but otherwise, perfect. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss Made T" at 6 o'clock.

The, quite possibly original, sapphire crystal is also perfect with no marks or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Matching solid 18K yellow gold 'President' bracelet is again, in excellent condition with 'Crownclasp' type deployant. Bracelet has a little stretch/play in the links - consummate with age but still in great shape. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 8" wrist or can be adjusted.

Movement

Model 18078 calibre 3055 automatic Chronometer movement with 48hr power reserve, working flawlessly and covered under Rolex International warranty (until July 2026) for your total peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with original boxes, service card from 2014 and current service card from July 2024, travel/service box and service receipt from the July 2024 service.
