Description

IWC Portugieser (aka Portuguese), finished in stainless steel with original matching deployant. Beautiful white, subseconds dial and black Alligator leather strap. A truly elegant, yet substantial, connoisseurs choice with its 8 day power reserve and hand-winding, calibre 59215 movement.

Case

Stainless steel case is in near mint condition with only a few light handling marks (mostly confined to the 9 o'clock side). This is a used watch but has only been worn occasionally and with care. The case retains its factory finish and has never been polished or re-finished in any way. Case reference: IW510203. Serial: 3912xxx.

Case dimensions are 43.2mm in diameter (not including crown), 12.5mm thick and 51mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifull, bright white, sub-seconds dial is stunning with appled silver Arabic numbers, inside an outer minute track. Dial has highly-polished stainless steel hour & minute hands with a blued-steel sub-seconds hand within the sub dial at 6 o'clock. There is also a date window at 3 o'clock. Dial is signed "IWC, Schaffhausen" with 'Swiss Made' at 6.

Sapphire crystal is flawless with no scratches or chips of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Lightly used but still excellent, black Alligator leather strap by Santoni (for IWC). Original stainless steel deployant is present and also in excellent condition. We believe this is the original strap that came with the watch when originally purchased.

Movement

Manual/hand-winding model IW510203 fitted with an IWC manufactured, 30 jewel, calibre 59215 movement with 192hr power reserve (8 day). The movement itself, which can be viewed through the exhibition caseback, is truly a thing of beauty and finished to the very highest standard of IWC watchmaking. There is a power reserve indicator on the movement itself. Full 12 months warranty for your total peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with the original box, manuals, microfibre cleaning cloth (unused), service manual and warranty card from authorised IWC boutique. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
