Description

Vintage Omega Constellation in very attractive 18K gold-capped case (not gold-plated) with stainless steel back and gold Observatory medallion. Lovely condition.

The Omega Constellation range of the 60's & 70's are regarded as some of the finest movements ever made. Any collection of watches that doesn't feature at least one of these legendary watches has, in our humble opinion, a gaping hole.

Case

Very attractive 18K yellow gold-capped case is in lovely condition showing only a few, very light wear marks to the case - not an overly polished example as many are. The rear cover is also in almost perfect condition and shows the famous Observatory logo in the centre, also finished in gold. Case also retains the original (and correct) 10-sided Omega winding crown.

Case dimensions are 34mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 43mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

The attractive metallic silver (refinished) dial has gold and Onyx 'baton' type hour markers with matching, yellow gold 'Dauphine' hands. Dial is signed 'Omega Automatic Chronometer, Officially Certified'.

The original Omega signed acrylic crystal is also in excellent condition with no noticeable scratches to speak of.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new HIRSCH 'Regent' strap, finished in dark brown which is lovely and supple. The strap is fitted with a gold filled buckle which complements the watch superbly.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

All original calibre 505, automatic movement in superb condition, recently overhauled and keeping superb time. This watch should continue to give countless years of enjoyment & service.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned watches 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
