Description

Rolex 18K yellow gold Precision with original champagne dial and dark brown Crocodile leather strap. This watch as a 'Sigma' dial - very rare! (please see below).

Case

18K yellow gold, 3-piece case is in very fine condition. Rear cover is perfect, showing no signs of incorrect entry. No dents, dings or scratches. A really nice example of a classic Rolex 18K gold watch - most from this period/style were 9K. Watch even retains its original, Rolex emblem winding crown. Model reference: 9659.

Case dimensions are 34mm in diameter (not including crown), 9mm thick and 39mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Simply beautiful and wholly original champagne metallic sunburst dial with complementing yellow gold Rolex Coronet, batons and hands. This being a 'Sigma' dial and bearing the "O Swiss O" moniker, denotes that the dial furniture and hands are solid gold and not the far more common, gold plated metal or gilt finshings, (please excuse any dust particles & reflections in some of the images - the dial is perfect). Dial is signed "Rolex, Precision" with "O Swiss O" at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic/Plexiglas crystal is perfect with no scratches, marks or chips of any kind and has just ben replaced at recent service - undertaken by ourselves.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a high quality, dark brown Crocodile strap to the watch with complementing gold-filled Rolex pin buckle.

Movement

Manual (or hand-winding), all original calibre 1225 movement has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As is the norm with most vintage timepieces, this particular watch doesn't come with original boxes or paperwork. It does however, come with an attractive green/biege presentation box shown in the final photograph. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
