Description

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date finished in 14K yellow gold with very rare, original dark brown dial and matching 14K yellow gold bracelet. Superb condition for age and a real treasure.

Case

Solid 14K yellow gold case is in beautiful/superb condition with screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown and matching 14K yellow gold 'Fluted' bezel. Rear cover also in excellent condition with no damage from incorrect entry attempts and has no inscription or engraving. Case reference no: 1503. Serial no: 6330xxx.

Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown - 37mm including), 11.5mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Extremely rare and original, metallic dark brown dial with 'Dagger' type hour markers and full-length/extra long minute markers. Dial has a few small age-related spots/lacquer bubbles - mostly around the very edge in a couple of places but is still in excellent overall condition. Rolex Coronet at 12 o'clock and matching (also original) yellow gold hands. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss T" at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is in excellent shape with no chips or noticeable scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

14K yellow gold 'Jubilee' bracelet (United States type) also in excellent, original condition. Very rare to see these bracelets at all nowadays but to find one complete like this with all its links is a very rare event indeed. Some stretch/play in the links, commensurate with age but still a very useable and wearable item. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 8" wrist or can be adjusted by removing or adding links (exact bracelet weight is 63 grams).

Movement

Automatic model 1503, 1570 calibre Rolex movement in excellent, well maintained condition having been recently serviced before being offered for sale. Watch is running perfectly, keeping excellent time and comes with 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.
