Description

Gentleman's Cartier Ballon Bleu in 18K/SS with matching bracelet and familiar silvered Guilloché Opaline Dial. This is the large/jumbo size with automatic movement. A really stunning watch yet still quite discreet as it's case is realtively thin with its convex shape. Complete with boxes and original manuals.

Case

Stainless steel & 18K yellow gold case is completely unmarked with no marks whatsoever - mint condition. Case has protected/encased spinel cabochon winding crown which gives the Ballon Bleu de Cartier a very unique identity. Purchased from the original owner, this watch was only worn 'as best' and this can clearly be seen by the condition of the watch.

Case dimensions are 42mm (not including crown), 13mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Silver Guilloché Opaline Dial with printed black Roman Numerals and elegant blued steel 'Sword' hands. Signed "Cartier, Automatic" with "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock. Dial also has date aperture at 3 o'clock.

Bracelet/Strap

Beautifully made 18K/SS bracelet with polished links. Gold centre links are on the upper part of the bracelet whereas the lower parts (which attract the most contact) are made of harder stainless steel. Two-button 'Butterfly' deployant clasp.

Movement

Cartier calibre 049 automatic movement with approx 38hr power reserve. Complete with our usual 12 months warranty for your total peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with both boxes, instruction manual, and warranty booklet although no actual certificate detailing the watch's serial number is present. After speaking with the original owner, we believe this wasn't given to him at time of purchase for some reason. The watch is 100% genuine and we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
