Description

Gentleman's gold & steel Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox in beautiful original condition with mechanical alarm in perfect working order. This is the much rarer large or jumbo sized version of the Memovox and is an automatic (bumper) with date function.

Case

Large-size solid 18K yellow gold case is in excellent condition with polished top and satin finished sides - almost 'unpolished' condition (we haven't re-polished it and sold it previously in 2012). This is a so-called 'Tropical' case and has a stainless steel rear cover and securing ring. Very rare to find these large size watches in such excellent condition. Original signed JL winding crowns too! Serial number: 1103059 clearly visible on rear of case.

Case dimensions are 37mm in diameter (not including crown), 13mm thick and 46mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautiful original silver dial with applied baton hour markers in gold/onyx. Dial also has an inner minute track and the familiar unidirectional inner alarm dial. Hands are original. Dial is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre, Automatic' with 'T Swiss Made T' at 6 o'clock and the JL logo/emblem at 12 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is brand new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind. This was replaced during recent service by ourselves.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new HIRSCH dark brown 'GenuineCroco' (Louisiana Alligator) strap to the watch with complementing yellow gold-filled buckle.

We are HIRSCH stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

Movement

Completely original automatic movement in perfect working order, both as a timpiece and as an alarm watch. It has just been fully overhauled and keeps excellent time. Alarm striking is lound & crisp. Full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned watches 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
