Description

Excellent condition Rolex Submariner in stainless steel with perfect 'Super Luminova' dial. This model was discontinued in approx. 2010 and replaced with a slightly larger version with ceramic bezel. Model ref: 16610 is becoming very collectable now and we've seen prices shoot up considerably over the last couple of years.

Case

Case is in excellent condition and is a superb example with strong, sharp edges and defined lines - not one of the heavily-polished, tired Subs we often see. Brushed effect on the top and bottom with highly polished sides - this is the later version with hidden 'pin-holes' case design. Case ref: 16610. Serial number: F070xxx.

Case dimensions are 40mm (not including crown - 44mm including), 13mm thick and 47.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

SuperLuminova dial is in perfect condition with no marks or discolouration of any kind. Date window at 3 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Submariner, 1000ft = 300m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

The crystal is 'as new' with no chips, scratches or marks and judging by the overall condition of the watch, is very likely the original crystal.

Bracelet/Strap

Bracelet is in mint condition showing only very slight stretch/play in links - easily 9/10. Bracelet length is approx. 8" or can be adjusted. This is the later design with SEL's (Solid End Links). Additional links are usually availbale at trade cost if required.

Movement

Model 16610, calibre 3135 automatic movement in excellent, all original condition. Watch has just been fully serviced by our Rolex accredited watchmaker and comes complete with 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with both original boxes, both manuals, leatherette wallet, translation booklet, calendar, serial numbered green hang-tag, un-opened anchor charm and original warranty certificate. Also comes with, although not pictured, the original purchase receipt and Rolex service paperwork from 02/2015. 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
