Description

Beautiful & completely original Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller in excellent, un-polished condition. Now a very sought-after, discontinued model - expect these to become very collectable going forward as the 'Swiss Only' dials, were only produced for a couple of years.

Case

Stainless steel case is in excellent, original & un-polished condition. Original bezel and bezel insert are also in excellent condition. Watch has obviously been very well looked after by previous owner who wore the watch mostly on a rubber strap. Case reference: 16600. Serial: A187***.

Case dimensions are 40mm in diameter (not including crown - 44mm including), 14.5mm thick and 48mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Flawless black gloss dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Sea Dweller, 4000ft=1220m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified with "Swiss" at 6 o'clock denoting a 'Luminova' dial which was only produced in 1998/1999 before the switchover to SuperLuminova which carried a different designation on the dial ('Swiss Made'). Date aperture at 3 o'clock (QuickSetDate model).

Sapphire crystal has a couple of very light scratches on which are extremely difficult to see with naked eye - mentioned here only for completeness.

Bracelet/Strap

Stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet is in near mint again, un-polished condition with 'FlipLock' clasp and solid end links. A fine example with very little stretch/play in the links as previous owner didn't actually use the bracelet opting instead to wear the watch on a rubber strap (Fliplock clasp was still used however hence why it appears a little shiny compared to the link sections). Bracelet will currently fit 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted down to about 6.5".

Movement

Automatic model 16600 (QuickSetDate), calibre 3135 Rolex movement in perfect condition and comes complete with our usual 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned Rolex 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. It does however come with the dark green/beige presentation box shown in the final image. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
