Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer I in stainless steel with black dial - excellent condition. This model was phased out in 2010 and replaced with a larger version. These discontinued models have become highly collectable. This one in fantastic original condition and we don't believe the case has ever been polished.

Case

Stainless steel case is in nr. perfect condition with polished sides and brushed top. Smooth polished bezel also in nr. mint condition and remains unpolished/very crisp. Original Twinlock winding crown. This is the slightly later version of the watch with the 'no-pin-holes' case. Case ref: 114270. Serial no: Z214xxx.

Case dimensions are 36mm (not including crown), 12mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Black dial with applied, luminous white gold 3, 6, 9 hour markers and batons. 'Mercedes' hands. Original Sapphire crystal is perfect with no scratches of any kind or edge chips.

Bracelet/Strap

Stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet with fliplock deployant clasp is in excellent condition with only very slight play/stretch in the links - a very well looked after watch. Clasp snaps shut nice and tightly. Will currently fit approx 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted. This was the latest version of the Explorer bracelet with newer 'Fliplock' clasp rather than the standard folding clasp of the previous model and has the solid-end-links SEL's too.

Movement

Original Rolex calibre 3130, Certified Chronometer, self-winding (automatic) movement. Full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with both original boxes, manual, both hang-tags, leatherette wallet, translation booklet, correct year calendar and the all important waranty certificate - a complete set!
