Description

Gentleman's International Watch Company wrist watch (now known simply as IWC) in solid 18K yellow gold with original 3, 6, 9, 12 silver dial and brown lizard strap. Complete with original manufacturer cotton transit bag and hang tag - a very rare find indeed.

Case

Solid 18K gold case is in beautiful NOS (new/old stock) condition and is flawless with no marks, dents, dings scratches or imperfections. Fully hallmarked inside (Swiss) for 18K - never polished! Original winding crown.

Dimensions are 33mm in diameter (not including crown), 8mm thick and 40mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Original silver 3, 6, 9, 12 dial is also in flawless condition with matching applied gold numbers, dot markers and hands. Dial is signed 'International Watch Company, Schaffhausen' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock. Please ignore camera and lighting unit reflections on the dial (dark shadows/patches), the dial is perfect.

Crystal is standard acrylic/Plexiglas type and is as new. We assume this is also original to the watch because of the piece's overall 'as new' condition.

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new high quality Hirsch 'Tejus Reptile' hand made strap finished in brown with complementing gold-filled buckle. We also have this strap available in black. This strap retails for £100.

We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Calibre 401 manual winding movement in excellent, original condition. Keeping superb time and has recently been fully overhauled by our watchmaker just to make sure it is running perfectly. 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned watches 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. It does however come with the dark green/beige presentation box shown in the final image. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
