Description

Gentleman's classic stainless steel Rolex OysterDate with lovely original silver dial, fitted with what appears to be a brand new & unused Rolex service replacement 'Oyster' bracelet. Watch is unused since recent (2016) Rolex service.

Case

Stainless steel case is in mint, almost flawless condition with smooth bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Rear cover of case is also in excellent condition and doesn't exhibit any of the all-to-common deep scratches/damage often seen from the use of incorrect tools to gain entry. No signs of corrosion inside case back either - a truly excellent example. Case reference number: 6694. Serial number: 2298xxx denoting year of manufacture to 1967.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Mint metallic silver dial with applied baton hour markers and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, OysterDate, Precision' with date aperture at 3 o'clock. This is a more recent, replaced during its 2016 service, so-called 'Service Replacement' dial hence the SuperLuminova designation of 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock. Hands were replaced at the same time so lume matches perfectly.

Acrylic crystal in excellent condition with no marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

Perfect condition and appears totally unused Rolex service replacement 'Oyster' bracelet (new bracelet cost appears on service paperwork). Unmarked and unworn. Bracelet will currently fit approx 7.25" wrist or casn be adjusted. Additional links usually available at trade cost.

Movement

Manual winding calibre 1225, fully signed Rolex movement in very fine condition and complete with 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

The watch comes with the original boxset & Rolex service paperwork from 2016 and the actual service receipt detailing what work was done and at what cost.
