Description

Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date in 18K/SS with beautiful dark blue metallic dial and matching 18K/SS 'Oyster' bracelet. Lovely original example - not overly polished or refinished.

Case

Stainless steel case is in excellent original (perhaps completely unpolished) condition. 18K 'Serrated' bezel also in excellent condition as is the matching 18K Twinlock winding crown. Case reference number: 15223. Serial number: S986xxx.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm (not including crown - 36mm including), 12.5mm thick and 43mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Gorgeous and completely original dark blue metallic dial with applied yellow gold 'Baton' hour markers. Dial is signed (in gilt coloured lettering) "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss Made T" at 6 o'clock. Gold hands are also original and Tritium colour match between hour markers and hands is perfect.

Sapphire crystal has a couple of very small edge chips around 2 o'clock but difficult to see unless specifically looking for them with a loupe or magnifier. No scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

Lovely 18K/SS 'Oyster' bracelet is in superb condition showing only very slight stretch/wear in the links. No deep marks or scratches on the bracelet and clasp itself folds and shuts nice and tightly.

Movement

Model 15223, calibre 3135 automatic Chronometer movement in excellent original condition and perfect working order. The watch comes with 12 months warranty for your total peace of mind.
