Description

Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller 4000. Already a special model due to its very limited production run of just 3 short years. This particular example is completely UNWORN & still has all case & bracelet seals still in place. There can't be more than a handful of these watches (in this pristine unused state) left in the world.

Case

Stainless steel case is pristine. No handling marks of any kind with all seals still attached to the watch. A 'Safe Queen', admired and looked at but never worn. We believe that if kept and not used or worn, this watch could achieve a value of perhaps £50k in 10 years time such is its rarity. The SD4K as it is known features a Cerachrom bezel along with the more familiar Helium escape valve and 'Trip-Lock' winding crown. Serial number: M817xxx. Case ref: 116600.

Case dimensions are 40mm (not including crown - 44mm including), 14.5mm thick and 48mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautiful glossy black dial with applied 'Maxi' hour markers. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Sea-Dweller, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock. Sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks, chips or other imperfections.

Bracelet/Strap

Stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet is again pristine with all bracelet & clasp seals still attached. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted - two extra links are included (full retail length). The bracelet was adjusted by AD when originally purchased but has never been worn.

Movement

Model 116600, calibre 3135 automatic Chronometer movement with 50hr power reserve. Still under ROlex Interanatioanl Warranty until 7th February 2022 for your total peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories
