Description

Excellent condition Rolex Submariner in stainless steel with original 'Tritium' dial. This model was discontinued in approx. 2010 and replaced with a slightly larger version with ceramic bezel. Model ref: 16610 is becoming very collectable now and we've seen prices shoot up considerably over the last year or so.

Case

Case is in excellent condition and is a virtually 'unpolished' example with strong, sharp edges and defined lines - not one of the overly-polished, tired Subs we often see. Brushed effect on the top and bottom with highly polished sides - this is the slightly older model with familiar visible 'pin-holes' in case sides. 'Pearl' marker in bezel is Tritium and we believe original to the watch as it matches the dial/hands perfectly. Case ref: 16610. Serial number: W124xxx.

Case dimensions are 40mm (not including crown - 44mm including), 13mm thick and 47.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Original 'Tritium' dial is in perfect condition with no marks or discolouration of any kind. Date window at 3 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Submariner, 1000ft = 300m, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'Swiss -T <25' at 6 o'clock.

The crystal is 'as new' with no chips, scratches or marks of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Bracelet is in excellent condition showing only very slight stretch/play in links - easily 8.5/10. Bracelet length is approx. 7.75" or can be adjusted. Additional links are availbale at trade cost if required.

Movement

Model 16610, calibre 3135 automatic movement in excellent, all original condition. Watch has just been fully serviced by our Rolex accredited watchmaker and comes complete with 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

This watch comes with both outer cardboard and inner presentation boxes, leather wallet, translation booklet, manuals, both hangtags and the original warranty certificate - the much sought after and desirable 'Complete Set'.
