Description

Exceptional minute repeating pocketwatch with virtually flawless white enamel dial, slide repeat mechanism and single push button chrono function. Completely mint condition case with very high-grade movement - jewelled to the hammers. How much would this watch be if signed by Patek or Vacheron..?

Case

Perfect condition, solid 18K pink/rose gold 'Hunter' case with 'Lorraine Cross' emblem on the front cover and attractive monogram on the rear. No dents, scratches or repairs to the case. Hinges all work perfectly and case shuts nice and tightly - virtually as new and has been obviously treasured throughout its life. Swiss hallmark for 18K but no date letter as with English hallmarks so impossible to date 100%.

Case dimensions are 51mm in diameter (not including pusher or slider), 16mm thick and 79mm from top of bow to bottom of hinge.

Dial & Crystal

Completely original white enamel sub-seconds dial with no hairlines, damage or repairs. Dial has black painted enamel numbers and smaller red enamel 24 hr markers around the outside. Outer 1/5 seconds markers around far edge of dial with inner minutes track. Hands appear to be original pink/rose gold with a little tarnishing to the centre seconds hand.

Acrylic crystal is again virtually as new and completely free from scratches or marks.

Movement

Very high-grade, lever set movement - jewelled to the hammers. No name on the movement but clearly one of very high quality. The closest 'looking' calibre we have seen is found in a Patek Philippe. Movement has recently been fully overhauled, is running perfectly and keeping excellent time. Full 12 months warranty.
