Description

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 36mm in 18K yellow gold with really lovely, original 'Wide-Boy' dial finished in silver. Fitted with a very high quality Honey Brown Hirsch 'London' strap made from Louisiana Alligator - a really nice watch.

Case

18K solid yellow gold case with matching 'Fluted' yellow gold bezel in excellent condition with only very light, superficial marks from careful use - mostly on the sides of the case as can be seen in the images. The rear cover is also excellent with the same superficial, very light scratches picked up from usual wear. We would be more than happy to arrange having the case re-polished (free of charge) should the new owner wish it, prior to delivery. Original screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Model reference: 1803 between lugs at 12 o'clock along with serial number: 3044xxx between lugs at 6 o'clock.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12.5mm thick and 43mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautiful and original, metallic silver dial is in mint condition with 'so called 'Wide-Boy' yellow gold 'baton' hour markers, matching original hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Perpetual Day-Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'T Swiss T' at 6 o'clock. Dial has familiar date aperture at 3 o'clock and day aperture between 11 and 1 o'clock - both original and the date wheel has 'open 6's and 9's'.

Acrylic crystal is in very good condition with no noticeable marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new Hirsch 'London' strap finished in matte Honey Brown with complementing gold-filled buckle. Also included is an original black Rolex crocodile strap with original Rolex gold-filled pin-buckle.

We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Automatic winding calibre 1556, 25 jewel signed Rolex movement in very fine condition and comes with our usual 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned Rolex 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original warranty certificate. It does however, come with the original (and correct) Rolex wooden/leather box shown in the final image. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
