Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer II in stainless steel with black dial. Discontinued in 2011, we have seen prices for this model rise recently and fully expect them to continue to do so over the coming years. This is a one owner watch complete with boxes, manuals, warranty certificate, etc.

Case

Stainless steel 40mm case in mint condition with engraved 24 hr bezel and polished case sides. Case reference: 16570. Serial: F456***. This is the later, no pin-holes case design with solid-end-links (SEL's).

Dial & Crystal

Flawless, glossy black dial with applied luminous hour markers & 'Mercedes' hands. 2nd hour hand for alternate time-zone setting. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with 'Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock. Sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks or blemishes.

Bracelet/Strap

Mint condition stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet with fliplock deployant clasp. Very little play/stretch at all on this bracelet - it really is an excellent example and not the usual 'tired' bracelets we often see. Bracelet will currently fit approx 8" wrist or can be adjusted. Full retail length as when new (additional links usually available at trade cost).

Movement

Certified Chronometer, self-winding/automatic movement (calibre 3185) in excellent, all original condition. Full 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

Comes complete with original presentation box, outer cardboard box, leatherette wallet, manual, translation booklet and signed/dated warranty certificate. Also included is the original purchase receipt from Watches of Switzerland in 2004!
