Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer in superb condition with original black dial. This model was phased out and replaced with a slightly larger version. The 'old' models are becoming highly collectable so time to grab one now before they increase too much in value.

Case

Stainless steel case is in virtually 'as new' condition with polished sides and brushed top. Smooth polished bezel in excellent condition. Original Twinlock winding crown. This revision of the watch has the 'no-pin-holes' case design. Case ref: 14270. Serial no: W892xxx.

Case dimensions are 36mm (not including crown), 12mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Black dial with applied, luminous white gold 3, 6, 9 hour markers and batons. Original 'Mercedes' hands - which match the lume of the hour markers perfectly. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'T Swiss -T <25 at 6 o'clock.

Sapphire crystal in perfect condition with no marks or chips of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet with folding clasp deployant is in excellent condition with only very slight play/stretch in the links. Clasp snaps shut nice and firmly. Will currently fit approx 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted.

Movement

Original Rolex calibre 3000, Certified Chronometer, self-winding (automatic) movement. Comes with full 12 months warranty for total peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories
