Description

Gentleman's International Watch Company wrist watch (now known simply as IWC) in stainless steel with original winding crown and beautiful white dial. Very nice watch and unusual to see in steel as most were produced in gold.

Case

Very crisp stainless steel case is in lovely condition with no marks, dents, dings, scratches or imperfections. Fully signed IWC inside the case back. Snap-fit case back fits nice and tightly with no damage to lever-off point (some odd reflections in images but please do ignore them, the case is virtually perfect). Case serial number: 1382707.

Dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 43mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Recently refinished white dial is in excellent condition with applied gilt 'dagger' hour markers with matching applied numbers at 3, 6 & 9 o'clock. Also appears to have retained its original gilt hands. Dial is signed 'International Watch Company, Schaffhausen', 'Automatic' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Crystal is standard acrylic/Plexiglas type and is 'as new'.

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new high quality Louisiana Alligator strap finished in dark brown with complementing stainless steel buckle.

We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Calibre 852 automatic movement in excellent, original condition - serial number 1282254. This movement uses the IWC patented 'Pellaton' winding system. Watch is keeping superb time and has recently been fully overhauled by our watchmaker just to make sure it is running perfectly. Comes with full 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned watches 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
