Description

Stunning gentleman's Jaeger LeCoultre in 18K pink gold case with gorgeous, original pink dial. A really superb investment piece in wonderful condition and suitable as a daily wearer due to its (for the period) large size. Rare for such an early piece to have a centre-seconds mechanism - someone would have paid handsomely for this when new.

Case

Solid 18K pink gold case is in excellent condition with a beautiful rich pink vintage lustre to the gold that seems to escape modern watches. Looks very elegant & sophisticated on the wrist. Can only have been very lightly polished throughout its life as edges to case sides, lugs and rear of case are still crisp and not rounded as we see with a lot of vintage pieces. Rear of case has serial number: 306232. (Image no.4 shows a hallmark indentation, not a dent).

Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown), 9.5mm thick and 48mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Amazing original pink dial in wonderful, un-touched condition with gold 'dagger' batons accented with fancy printed numerals at 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock. Matching pink gold 'Dauphine' hands which also appear to be original. Dial is signed "Jaeger LeCoultre" with "Swiss" at 6 o'clock. (Please ignore the circular shadows on the dial in some images, merely the reflective dial/crystal picking up the camera lens).

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is like new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a new dark brown crocodile strap to the watch with complementing gold-filled buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'Precious Leathers' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

Movement

Completely original & fully signed Jaeger LeCoultre manual-winding movement in perfect working order and keeping superb time. Calibre P.450 with serial number: 348711. Fully serviced by our watchmaker and comes with full 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.
