Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer II in stainless steel with white porcelain dial. Complete with boxes, hangtags, manuals and original warranty paperwork. In lovely, virtually 'as new' condition and bought from the original owner. This model was discontinued in 2011 so we expect prices to rise steadily over the coming years.

Case

Stainless steel 40mm case in excellent condition with engraved 24 hr bezel and polished case sides. This is the newer, no-pin-holes case deisgn. Case reference: 16570. Serial: D549***. Case appears to be the original finish and has not been polished or re-finished in any way.

Dial & Crystal

Flawless, white porcelain dial with applied luminous hour markers & 'Mercedes' hands. 2nd hour hand for alternate time-zone setting. Sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks or blemishes. The crystal was replaced at the request of the previous owner as he didn't want it to have a date bubble. This was done by the authorised Rolex agent.

Bracelet/Strap

Excellent condition stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet with fliplock deployant clasp. There is virtually no play/stretch at all on this bracelet - it really is like brand new with just a few light surface handling marks. Will currently fit approx 8.5"wrist or can be adjusted. This is a full retail length bracelet and has all links as when new. Like the case, this bracelet has never been polished or refinished.

Movement

Certified Chronometer, self-winding (automatic) movement (calibre 3185). We have had the movement fully serviced/overhauled and timed - it is keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
