Description

Rolex Oyster in stainless steel with very atractive 'Explorer' type dial. Fitted with a high quality Hirsch 'Lizard' strap finished in dark brown. A very elegant gentleman's watch.

Case

Stainless steel case with matching smooth stainless steel bezel; both in very fine condition. Rear cover is also excellent with no imperfections, damage or inscriptions. Original screw down 'Rolex Oyster' winding crown. Model reference: 4499. Serial number: 673xxx

Case dimensions are 34mm in diameter (not including crown), 10.5mm thick and 40mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifully restored (from original) dial is in flawless condition with sunken 3, 6, 9 numerals and 'dagger' type hour markers. Dial has its original 'feuille' hands with contrasting blued-steel centre seconds hand. Hands are showing signs of ageing/tarnishing. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster" with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is brand new, having recently been replaced during service and is in perfect condition with no marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new high quality Hirsch 'Lizardn' strap finished in dark brown with complementing stainless steel Rolex pin-buckle.

We are authorised Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'Precious Leathers' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Manual winding, 15 jewel Rolex movement in excellent condition. Complete with full 12 months warranty for your complete peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories
