Description

Mid-Size Rolex Oyster in stainless steel with attractive white 'rail track' dial and dark brown strap. Excellent condition considering its age. Would equally be at home on a gents or ladies wrist. Manual winding movement.

Case

Excellent condition stainless steel case with screw down rear cover and integral smooth bezel. Rear cover shows no signs of incorrect entry and no inscription. Model reference: 2280 and serial number: 143xxx stamped clearly on rear of case. Original 'Oyster + Patent' screw down winding crown.

Case dimensions are 30mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 35mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Very pretty (refinished) white sub-seconds dial is in excellent condition with gilt coloured, raised 'rail track' minute marker around the outer edge and matching Arabic Numbers. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster' and retains its original 'Pencil' type blued steel hands.

Acrylic crystal has no marks or scratches and was lightly polished during recent service.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new high quality calf-leather strap with Alligator type embossing which is finished in a rich dark brown and has a complementing stainless steel Rolex buckle.

We are a Hirsch authorised stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'Precious Leathers' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Manual/hand winding 17 jewel, fully signed Rolex movement in very fine condition - recently fully serviced and comes with 12 months warranty.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned Rolex 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
