Description

Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Precision in stainless steel with lovely white dial & original 'Roulette' date wheel. Fitted with a black calf leather strap and matching stainless steel Rolex buckle. Wonderful condition.

Case

Stainless steel case with smooth bezel is in excellent-mint condition. Rear cover is also mint with no damage or inscription. Case has familiar 'Twinlock' screwdown winding crown. Model reference: 6494 between lugs at 12 o'clock along with serial number: 224xxx between lugs at 6 o'clock. Two digit date stamp inside rear of case denoting forth quarter of 1956 production date. Not overly polished with nice thick lugs. Certainly one of the best condition 1950's steel Oyster cases we've seen in a while.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 41mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifully refinished white dial with elegant applied steel 'dagger' hour markers along with Rolex Coronet at 12 o'clock. The dial is in flawless condition with 'Dauphine' hands and a blued centre seconds hand. Dial is signed 'Rolex, OysterDate, Precision with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is brand new, having recently been replaced during service and is perfect with no marks, chips or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new calf leather strap with Alligator embossing finished in black with complementing stainless steel Rolex buckle.

Movement

Manual winding, all original Rolex movement in very fine condition. Keeping superb time and complete with full 12 months warranty.
