Description

Gentleman's 18K/SS Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date with flawless original black dial & matching 18K/SS 'Oyster' bracelet (sapphire crystal, QuickSetDate model). Very rare model. No longer in production.

Case

Stainless steel case is in superb original condition with 18K screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown and 18K 'Serrated' yellow gold bezel, both in perfect condition with none of the all too common chips, dents, etc. Rear cover also in mint condition with no damage from incorrect entry attempts and has no inscription or engraving. Case reference no: 15223. Serial no: K159xxx.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 41.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Flawless black dial with applied yellow gold baton hour markers, Rolex Coronet at 12 o'clock & complementing yellow gold hands. Signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified, Swiss Made". Very rare original black dial with gilt lettering. Date aperture at 3 o'clock (QuickSetDate).

Sapphire crystal is brand new with no edge-chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

18K/SS 'Oyster' bracelet is again in excellent condition with virtually ZERO stretch/play in links - not like the usual 'tired' or worn-out bracelets we often see. bracelet is a little short at 7"; we have been promised an extra link by the original owner which will be included once it arrives (extra links available at trade cost).

Movement

Automatic model 15223, 3135 (QuickSetDate) calibre Rolex movement in very fine condition - running perfectly and keeping superb time. Having recently been fully serviced by ourselves, this watch comes with 12 months warranty for complete peace of mind.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories

As with the majority of pre-owned Rolex 5-10 yrs or older, this particular watch does not come with its original boxes or warranty certificate. The watch is 100% genuine and rest assured, we give a lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of all the watches we sell.
