Description

Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual in superb 18K yellow gold with very beautiful white Roman Numeral dial. Fitted with a high quality black crocodile strap. Superb condition.

Case

18K yellow gold case with matching 'Fluted' yellow gold bezel in very fine condition. Rear cover is also excellent with no damage or inscription. Original screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Model reference: 1501 between lugs at 12 o'clock along with serial number: 2494xxx between lugs at 6 o'clock indicating a production year of 1968.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 41mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Lovely original bright white dial with applied yellow gold 'block' hour markers and printed Roman Numerals. The dial is in excellent condition with the original hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified' with 'T Swiss T' at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is brand new, having recently been replaced during service and is perfect with no marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new high quality crocodile strap finished in black with complementing Rolex gold-filled buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Automatic winding, 26 jewel signed Rolex calibre 1570 movement in very fine condition. Keeping superb time and complete with full 12 months warranty.
