#52267 - Gents International Watch Company Manual Wind Calibre 89 In Stainless Steel With White Dial Year: 1955 Price: SOLD (5/2/18) Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's International Watch Company wrist watch in stainless steel with beautifully refinished white dial and black calf leather strap. Fabulous condition and very rare in steel. Case Very unusual to find such a large size, fancy lug case in steel as the vast majority of these vintage IWC's were in 18K gold. The case itself is in almost flawless condition with no dents, dings scratches or imperfections of any kind. Very attractive 'bombe' type lugs. Case serial number: 1328765. Dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 9.5mm thick and 46mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Beautifully re-finished white dial is also in flawless condition with applied gold 'dagger' type hour markers and numbes at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 o'clock along with matching plain gold hands. Dial is signed 'International Watch Company, Schaffhausen' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock. Crystal is standard acrylic/Plexiglas type and is brand new (was replaced at recent service). Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a brand new calf leather strap finished with an attractive alligator embossing with complementing stainless steel buckle which we feel suits the watch perfectly. We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
