Description

Gentleman's stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox in lovely original condition with mechanical alarm in perfect working order - sounding loud and crisp. This is the much rarer large or jumbo sized version of the Memovox and is an automatic with date function.

Case

Large-size stainless steel case is in mint condition with polished top and bottom with satin finished sides. Very rare to find these large size watches in such excellent original condition. Model reference: 875.42 and serial number: 1474091 clearly visible on rear of case.

Case dimensions are 37mm in diameter (not including crown), 13mm thick and 45mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Gorgeous, original silver dial with applied baton hour markers in black. Dial also has an inner minute track and the familiar uni-rotating inner alarm dial. Hands appear to have been relumed at some point in the past but they do appear original. Dial is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre, Automatic' with 'T Swiss Made T' at 6 o'clock and unsually, the JL logo/emblem at 9 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is brand new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind. This was replaced during recent service.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new Hirsch honey-brown 'Genuine Alligator' strap to the watch with complementing steel buckle.

We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

Movement

Completely original automatic movement in perfect working order, both as a timpiece and as an alarm watch. It has just been fully overhauled and keeps excellent time. Alarm striking is lound & crisp. Full 12 months warranty.
