Description

Gentleman's Rolex 9ct Precision with original silver dial, red/brown crocodile strap and matching Rolex gold-filled buckle. A very attractive, slim mens (or ladies) watch in perfect working order. Very rare to find these watches with original dials still intact.

Case

Lovely 9ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition and has a polished finish throughout. Inside rear cover are English hallmarks for 9ct and case makers mark 'Dennison'. This watch was produced when the tax for imported gold was very high so canny manufacturers shipped movements seperately and they were cased in the country of retail sale. Dennison made cases for IWC, Omega and Rolex during this period to name but a few.

Case dimensions are 33.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 8.5mm thick and 41mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Very attractive & elegant original silver sub-seconds dial is in excellent condition. The dial has applied baton type hour markers along with the familiar Rolex Coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex', 'Precision' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock. One or two small marks on the dial but overall, outstanding for its age with no discolouration or lacquer-lift.

Acrylic/Plexiglas crystal is brand new and flawless.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new red/brown crocodile strap to the watch with a complementing gold filled (original) Rolex pin-buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range or 'Artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Manual winding, signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
