#52161 - Omega Constellation In 18ct Pink Gold With 2tone Silver Dial & Red-Brown Alligator Strap Year: 1957 Price: SOLD (1/2/16) Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's Omega Constellation in solid 18ct pink gold with gorgeous, 2tone silver dial & red-brown Hirsch 'London' strap. Very rare to find these early Constellations in pink gold and in such fine order. The case has hardly ever been touched. Please look at the detailing and edges on the watch case - no overpolishing here. Case Solid, heavy 18ct pink gold case is in truly superb condition and is complete with original pink-gold, Omega signed winding crown (these are impossible to find now so this could well be the original item). Snap-on rear cover has beautifully detailed 'Observatory' emblem and also still has the stamps for 'Constellation' & 'Waterproof' top and bottom (these have almost always been polished away with servicing/refinishing so to find one with detailing like this is a real treat). Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 11 mm thick and 45mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Fantastic (recently refinished) silver 2tone dial with applied 'dagger' style hour-markers and numbers at 3, 6, 9 & 12 is in flawless, perfect condition and is signed 'Omega Automatic Chonometer Officially Certified, Constellation' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock. Pink gold 'dauphine' hands are also original to the watch. Crystal is a genuine Omega acrylic/Plexiglas replacement and is like brand new with no scratches or marks of any kind. Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a brand new, high quality Hirsch 'London' strap finished in red-brown to the watch with a standard gold-filled buckle. This really is a beautiful strap and retails for £175. We feel it compliments the watch perfectly. We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
