Description

Gentlemans Rolex 18K/SS DateJust with really beautifully re-finished antique white dial and dark brown crocodile strap. Lovely mid 60's DateJust in excellent condition with perfect & unmarked smooth bezel.

Case

Stainless steel case is in mint condition with very little signs of refinishing and has certainly never been over-polished in any way. 18ct yellow gold smooth bezel is also in mint condition with none of the all-too-common chips or dents we often see. Matching original yellow gold winding crown. Serial number: 1250xxx. Model ref: 1600. Rear of case also in mint condition, dings or damage to the fine toothed edge.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 44mm lug to lug

Dial & Crystal

Recently refinished antique white (ivory) dial with applied yellow gold 'baton' hour markers and raised Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock and matching gold hands. Dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual DateJust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss T" at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic/Plexiglas crystal is as new and again, flawless.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new, high-quality dark brown crocodile strap to the watch with complementing original Rolex stainless steel pin buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range or 'Artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Automatic, Chronometer certified, signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
