Description

Gentlemans Rolex stainless steel Oyster Royal with very pretty white dial. This is an early, smaller size version of the Royal and is particularly unusual as it is a bi-metal model rather than the far more commonly seen, steel-only versions.

Case

Stainless steel case in very fine condition with polished smooth yellow gold bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Rear cover is perfect, showing no signs of incorrect entry. No dents, dings or scratches of any kind. A really nice, not overly-polished example. Model number: 6145, serial number: 786xxx.

Case dimensions are 32mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 38.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifully refinished white dial with applied 'dagger' type hour markers & Rolex Coronet just under the 12 o'clock double-baton. Matching gold 'alpha' (sometimes referred to as 'dauphine') hands with contrasting blued steel centre seconds hand. Dial is signed "Rolex, Oyster Royal, Shock-Resisting" with "Swiss Made" at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic/Plexiglas crystal is perfect with no scratches, marks or chips of any kind. Could easily be the original crystal.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a calf leather strap finished in dark brown to the watch which has a crocodile effect pattern with complementing Rolex signed stainless steel buckle.

Movement

Manual winding model 6145, fully signed Rolex movement in very fine condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
