Description

Gentlemen's stainless steel Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox in lovely, original condition with mechanical alarm in perfect working order - sounding loud and crisp. Very attractive version of this much sought-after 50's timepiece.

Case

Stainless steel case is in beautiful, original condition with attractive tear-drop style lugs. Looks very elegant & classy on the wrist. Seperate winding crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock for timepiece and alarm mainsprings/setting. Rear of case has serial number: 559892.

Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 41.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Stunning, recently refinished 2tone white & silver dial with mixture of applied numbers and 'dagger' style batons (in gold). Inner, alarm dial is printed with capital cities of the world (World Time). Dial is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre, Memovox' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is like new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a very high quality, black Hirsch 'London' strap to the watch with complementing stainless steel buckle but this can be changed to gold-filled (to match dial furniture) if the new owner wishes. This is a hand-made strap finished in Tejus reptile (lizard) and retails for £179.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'Precious Leathers' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

Movement

Completely original manual/hand winding movement in perfect working order, both as a timpiece and as an alarm watch. It has just been fully overhauled and keeps excellent time. Alarm striking is lound & crisp. Full 12 months warranty.
