Description

Gentleman's International Watch Company wrist watch (now known simply as IWC) in solid 18ct yellow gold with white dial and honey-brown Hirsch 'Regent' alligator strap. Really superb condition.

Case

Solid 18ct gold case is in beautiful, flawless condition with no marks, dents, dings scratches or imperfections. Very attractive large case. Fully hallmarked inside (Swiss) for 18ct with case serial number 1186508 denoting a casing date range of 1945-1960.

Dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Beautifully re-finished white dial is also in flawless condition with applied gold 'dagger' hour markers and matching plain gold hands. Dial is signed 'International Watch Company, Schaffhausen' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Crystal is standard acrylic/Plexiglas type and is brand new (was replaced at recent service).

Bracelet/Strap

Brand new Hirsch 'Regent' honey-brown alligator strap (RRP: £79) with complementing gold-filled buckle.

We are Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Calibre 89 manual winding movement in excellent, all original condition with movt. number: 1164242 dentoting a production date of 1945-1950. Keeping superb time and has recently been fully overhauled by our watchmaker just to make sure it is running perfectly. 12 months warranty.
