Description

Gentlemen's stainless steel LeCoultre Memovox in lovely, original condition with mechanical alarm in perfect working order - sounding loud and crisp. This particular watch would have originally been made/sold for the US market, hence the Jaeger part of the name being omitted.

Case

Stainless steel case is in very fine condition with none of the all-to-common signs of over-polishing or incorrect entry into the case (this is a front-loading case which requires the crowns being removed and the crystal being taken out first). Seperate winding crowns at 2 and 4 o'clock for timepiece and alarm mainsprings. These crowns are believed to be original to the watch.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 10.5mm thick and 37mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Stunningly refinished silver 2tone dial with bold Roman Numeral hour markers and original hands. Inner, alarm dial has triangle marker for alarm setting. Dial is signed 'LeCoultre, Memovox' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is like new and flawless with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a high quality black patent crocodile strap to the watch with complementing stainless steel buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details..

Movement

Completely original manual winding movement in perfect working order, both as a timpiece and as an alarm watch. It has just been fully overhauled and keeps excellent time. Alarm striking is lound & crisp. Full 12 months warranty.
