#51979 - Rolex Oyster Speedking With White Dial & Dark Brown Leather Strap Year: 1937 Price: SOLD (10/2/15) Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Rolex Oyster Speedking in rather elegant 'Cushion' style 9t gold case with sub-seconds dial and dark brown leather strap. Very pretty watch and would suit either a lady or a gentleman. Case Solid 9ct yellow gold, cushioin style case is in very fine condition with original 'Oyster Patent' winding crown. Model reference: 2416 on the rear cover along with serial number: 42xxx. Rear cover is stamped inside with Glasgow import hallmarks for 9ct and date letter denoting 1937. Case dimensions are 28mm in diameter (not including crown), 10mm thick and 32mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Lovely, crisp re-finished white sub-seconds dial is gorgeous and has matching yellow gold sunken 'dagger' batons with matching (original) 'alpha' hands along with familiar Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Speedking, Precision' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock. Acrylic crystal has recently been replaced during service and is perfect with no marks or scratches of any kind. Bracelet/Strap We have fitted a brand new dark brown calf leather strap with complementing Rolex gold-filled steel buckle. We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
