Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Precision in 9ct yellow gold with beautifully refinished white dial and dark brown crocodile strap. Complete with original purchase receipt from 1949 and supporting service paperwork and guarantee certificates! Extremely rare find.

Case

9ct yellow gold case is in excellent condition with no damage or repair work. Obviously a well looked after and cherished watch. Smooth front bezel. Serial no: 183xxx inside rear cover along with 9ct hallmarks for Birmingham and date letter 'Y' for 1948. This is an exceptionally elegant vintage Rolex.

Case dimensions are 30mm (not including crown, 32mm including), 9mm thick and 37mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Refinished white dial with applied arabic number hour markers and original blued steel hands. Acrylic crystal is perfect with no marks or blemishes. Could also be original but no way of knowing for sure.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new crocodile strap finished in dark brown to the watch with complementing gold-filled buckle.

Movement

All original Rolex signed, seventeen jewel manual winding movement is in silky-smooth condition and looks like it has never been touched. Really superb condition and just doesn't look like a 10 year old movement, let alone 65! Has just been fully overhauled and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
