Description

Gentlemen's Rolex Explorer I in stainless steel with black dial. In lovely original condition. This model has now been phased out and been replaced with a slightly larger version (RRP: £4,300). The 'going out' models are sure to become collectable as time goes on.

Case

Stainless steel case is in excellent condition with smooth bezel and twinlock winding crown. This is a 'no-pin-holes' case design. Case ref: 14270. Serial no: T138xxx.

Case dimensions are 36mm (not including crown), 12mm thick and 44mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Black dial with applied, luminous white gold 3, 6, 9 hour markers and batons. 'Mercedes' hands. Sapphire crystal is perfect with no marks or blemishes.

Bracelet/Strap

Again, excellent condition stainless steel 'Oyster' bracelet with older style deployant clasp. Will currently fit approx 7.5" wrist or can be adjusted. This is the latest version of the Explorer bracelet with solid end links.

Movement

Certified Chronometer, self-winding (automatic) movement. Has just been fully overhauled and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
