Case Stainless steel case is in very fine condition with screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Stainless steel 'Index' bezel also in very fine condition with none of the all too common chips, dents, marks, etc. Very crisp. Case ref: 1501. Serial no: 3110xxx. Case is date marked inside for 2nd quarter of 1971. Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 11.5mm thick and 41.5mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Expertly refinished, matte black dial has applied steel 'baton' hour markers with complementing hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" with "T Swiss T" at 6 o'clock. Date aperture at 3 o'clock. Brand new, acrylic crystal is also flawless and unmarked with no chips or scratches of any kind. Bracelet/Strap Original stainless steel solid link 'Oyster' bracelet is in excellent condition with only very little stretch/play in links - a really fine example and not the usual 'tired' bracelets we often see. Bracelet will currently fit approx. 7.25" wrist or can be adjusted. This bracelet is newer than the watch but suits it perfectly and is preferred by many people as the older bracelets from the 70's can feel a little flimsy.
