Description

Gentleman's Rolex Oyster Perpetual (semi-bubbleback) in stainless steel with lovely white dial and dark brown leather strap. A really nice example of this very rare 'ovettone' model (A.K.A. Big Egg or Large Bubbleback).

Case

Stainless steel case is in truly mint condition with hardly any signs of refinishing. Integral steel bezel is also in mint condition as is the rear cover with no imperfections or damage. Original non-screw down, 'Super Oyster' winding crown. Model reference: 6098 between lugs at 12 o'clock along with serial number: 725xxx between lugs at 6 o'clock. Rear cover is stamped inside with matching reference number.

Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 15mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Lovely, crisp re-finished white dial is a real stunner and has both yellow gold 'dagger' type hour markers and Arabic numbers along wth matching (original) 'leaf' hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal has recently been replaced during service and is perfect with no marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a brand new, high quality calf leather strap with complementing Rolex stainless steel buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Automatic winding 18 jewel signed Rolex movement in very fine condition - recently fully serviced and keeping superb time. 12 months warranty.
