#51856 - Rolex Oyster Cushion in Solid Silver With Beautiful White Dial & Black Leather Strap Year: c1928 Price:SOLD Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Rolex solid silver rectangular Oyster 'Cushion' in very fine condition with beautiful white dial and fitted with a new black calf leather strap with complementing steel buckle. Very, very rare in solid silver. A stunning piece and sound investment opportunity. Case Solid silver case in very fine, original condition. Both front milled bezel and rear cover are in flawles condition with no damage to their fine, toothed edges. They both screw down correctly and tightly. Original 'Oyster Patent' screw-down winding crown is also excellent with good threads on both case and crown itself. Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown, 36 including), 10mm thick and 37mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Beautifully re-finished, white sub-seconds dial has applied numbers and outer minute track. Watch retains its original blued steel hands. This is a sub-seconds model which was the more traditional and marks the watch as slightly older than the more modern, centre seconds verisons. The crystal is a standard Plexiglas/acrylic type and is brand new and was fitted when the watch was recently serviced by our watchmaker. Bracelet/Strap Brand new ZRC strap finished in black with complementing stainless steel buckle. This strap is an open-ended strap (which this type of watch requires due to the fixed-lugs). Movement High quality 15 jewel, manual winding 'Ultra Prima' movement which is marked 'Timed 6 Positions' & 'For All Climates'.
