Description

Very rare Rolex Oyster 'Army', cushion style case in stainless steel with beautiful white dial. A very rare, collectible and extremely pretty watch.

Case

Stainless steel case is in fantastic condition and has been lightly referb'd to an exceptional standard by our watchmaker. These 'Army' cases are very rare and this is only the third one we've had in stock over the past nine years. It has its original Oyster Patent 'Top Hat' winding crown fitted. The rear cover, which is also in excellent condition has the serial number '275651'. Case reference number (inside back) is '3139'.

Case dimensions are 30mm in diameter (not including crown), 10.5mm thick and 38mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Stunning, re-finished white dial is in flawless condition with sunken gold dagger hour markers along with matching gilt hands and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Dial is signed 'Rolex, Oyster Royal, Chronometer' with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock. The dial has been re-finished to the highest standard by the very best in the business.

Acrylic, domed crystal has just been replaced and is perfect with no marks or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a new/old stock Rolex leather strap finished in light brown with complementing stainless steel buckle.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Stunning 18 jewel, signed Rolex chronometer, manual winding movement is in very fine condition. Timed to 6 positions, the movement has recently fully serviced and still maintaining chronometer accuracy. 12 months warranty.
