#51684 - Rolex Oyster Cushion in 18ct Yellow Gold With Stunning Cream/White Dial & Dark Brown Leather Strap Year: 1931 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): FREE Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Rolex 18ct rectangular Oyster 'Cushion' in very fine condition with beautiful creamy white dial and fitted with a new dark brown calf leather strap with complementing gold-filled buckle. Very rare in 18ct and a stunning piece. Case 18ct yellow gold case in very fine, original condition. Both front milled bezel and rear cover are in flawles condition with no damage to their fine, toothed edges. They both screw down correctly and tightly. Original 'Onion' screw-down winding crown is also excellent with good threads on both case and crown itself. Case dimensions are 35mm in diameter (not including crown, 36 including), 10mm thick and 37mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Beautifully re-finished dial in a creamy white colour with applied numbers and outer minute track. Watch retains its original gilt hands. This is a centre-seconds model which carried a significant price-premium over the more traditional and more common sub-seconds version when originally bought. The crystal is a standard Plexiglas/acrylic type and is brand new and was fitted when the watch was recently serviced by our watchmaker. Bracelet/Strap Brand new ZRC strap finished in dark brown with complementing gold-filled buckle. This strap is an open-ended strap (which this type of watch requires due to the fixed-lugs).
