Description

Gentleman's Rolex Precision in lovely, 14ct gold and steel 'Tropical' case with white sub-seconds dial & light brown leather strap - very rare and in stunning condition. Tropical cased watches are so-called because the rear cover is made of steel which doesn't heat up in warmer climes as much as gold will.

Case

Stunning 14ct yellow gold & steel 'Tropical' case is in superlative condition showing no signs of damage, incorrect entry or imperfections. The 'Index' bezel is a real stunner with no signs of damge and virtually no wear to the fine grooving/detailing. A very handsome and quite large watch for the time.

Case dimensions are 35mm (not including crown - 37mm including), 9.5mm thick and 43mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Lovely refinished white dial is in excellent condition and has just been restored during recent overhaul. Dial has matching gilt hands with blued steel sub-seconds hand. Dial is signed Rolex Precision with 'Swiss Made' at 6 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal is free from scratches and in mint/as new condition.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a new Hirsch 'Forest Nature Collection' strap to this watch, finished in light brown with contrasting stitching. We feel this complements the watch perfectly. Hirsch gold-filled buckle.

Movement

Manual winding, signed Rolex movement in very fine and original condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
