Description

Gentleman's Rolex Precision in very pretty 9ct solid gold 'Bombe' lug case. With white dial & Roulette (red/black) date - very rare and in stunning condition. An exceptional piece!

Case

Stunning 9ct yellow gold 'Bombe' lug cased (pronounced 'Bombay') is in superlative condition showing no signs of damage, incorrect entry or imperfection. Case is signed DS&S with hallmarks for London and the date letter 'f' for 1961. There are also some watchmaker service marks inside from previous servicing.

Case dimensions are 34mm (not including crown - 44mm including), 10mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Lovely refinished white dial is in perfect condition and has just been restored during recent overhaul. Dial has matching gilt hands with blued steel centre seconds hand. Date window at 3 o'clock with very rare 'Roulette' (red/black) date wheel.

Acrylic crystal is free from scratches and in mint/as new condition.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a new Hirsch 'Forest Nature Collection' strap to this watch, finished in brown with contrasting stitching. We feel this complements the watch perfectly. Hirsch gold-filled buckle.

Movement

Manual winding, 17 jewel, signed Rolex movement in very fine and original condition. Has just been fully overhauled, running perfectly and keeping superb time. Full 12 months warranty.
