#51229 - Jaeger LeCoultre 'Futurematic' With White Dial & Brown Crocodile Strap Year: 1958 Price: SOLD Shipping (Within UK): £7.50 Shipping (Worldwide): £12 Description Gentleman's Jaeger LeCoultre 'Futurematic' in solid 9ct gold case with white dial and dark brown Hirsch Crocodile strap. Lovely example of a classic, groundbreaking watch. Case 9ct yellow gold case in excellent, very well looked after condition with attractive lugs - this is a large size version when compared with similar watches of the same era. The rather futuristic design of the watch removed the winding crown from its traditional position at 3 o'clock and placed it on the rear of the case. Case dimensions are 36mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 42mm lug to lug. Dial & Crystal Beautifully re-finished white dial with mixture of applied numbers and 'baton' hour markers. Dial has sub-seconds dial at 3 o'clock with 'up/down' power reserve dial at 9 o'clock (aka Reserve de Marche). Dial is signed 'Jaeger LeCoultre Futurematic' with 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock. Acrylic crystal has just been replaced is perfect with no marks or scratches. Bracelet/Strap Brand new, Hirsch 'Artisanal' crocodile strap finished in dark brown with gold-filled buckle (RRP: £109). We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost).
