Description

Gentleman's classic stainless steel Rolex OysterDate with beautifully re-finished dark red 'Vignette' dial and black Hirsch 'Genuine Alligator' leather strap.

Case

Stainless steel case in excellent condition with smooth stainless steel bezel and screw down 'Twinlock' winding crown. Rear cover or case is in very fine condition and doesn't exhibit any of the all-to-common scratches/damage that is often seen from use of incorrect tool to gain entry. Case reference number: 6694. Serial number: 5285xxx denoting year of manufacture to 1977.

Case dimensions are 34.5mm in diameter (not including crown), 12mm thick and 42mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Really special dial, re-finished in a modern dark-red 'Vignette' style with applied baton hour markers, matching steel hands and Rolex coronet. Dial is signed 'Rolex, OysterDate, Precision' with 'T Swiss T' at 6 o'clock. Date aperture at 3 o'clock.

Acrylic crystal has just been replaced is perfect with no marks or scratches.

Bracelet/Strap

We have fitted a very high quality black Hirsch 'Genuine Alligator' crocodile strap with complementing stainless steel buckle to the watch. This strap is part of Hirsch's 'Precious Leather' range and retails for £99.

We are also Hirsch stockists and can change the strap to any from their 'Classic' machine made range, or 'artisanal' range of superb hand-made straps if you desire (subject to cost). Please contact us for further details.

Movement

Manual winding model 6694 signed Rolex movement in very fine condition - recently fully serviced and keeping superb time. 12 months warranty.
