Description

Rolex stainless steel OysterDate in stainless steel with lovely original white dial and dark brown leather strap. This is a very rare, early example of the OysterDate model. Highly sought after with original dial too.

Case

Stainless steel case in excellent condition with 'Twinlock' screw-down winding crown. Smooth bezel is also in excellent condition with no dents, scratches or dings. Screw-down case back agin, in excellent condition and doesn't have any of the all-too-common engravings or incorrect entry damage. Serial number is fully intact and reads: 655xxx. Case reference number is 6694.

Case dimensions are 34mm in diameter (not including crown), 11mm thick and 40mm lug to lug.

Dial & Crystal

Lovely, original white dial is in really excellent condition with 'dagger' type batons and Rolex coronet at 12 o'clock. Original 'alpha' hands have been retained along with contrasting blued steel centre seconds hand. Dial is signed 'Rolex Oyster' with '- Date -' on a seperate line (very rare) with 'Precision' and then 'Swiss' at 6 o'clock.

Plexiglas/acrylic crystal is like brand new and unmarked with no chips or scratches of any kind.

Bracelet/Strap

Good quality dark brown calf leather strap with stainless steel buckle.
